Xtreme Beauty Reptiles

I'm a private breeder/reptile hobbyist living in Colorado in the Denver metropolitan area. I was born in Aurora, Colorado but spent my childhood in central California. I left California and returned to Colorado in 2004 due to health issues and because I really missed the Rocky Mountains, especially the climate.

I'm primarily known for crested geckos (Rhacodactylus ciliatus) and cornsnakes (Elaphe guttata guttata), however they aren't the only species that I keep. I also raise leopard geckos (Eublepharis macularius), giant day geckos (Phelsuma madagascariensis grandis), mourning geckos (Lepidodactylus lugubris) and have recently purchased my first female Grande Terra Giant Gecko (Rhacodactylus leachianus leachianus)! She is a "Type A" "Tweed" morph and her name is Booger! Her previous owner named her that, don't ask me why.

How it all started...
Like many reptile keepers, my passion started in my childhood. I was very fortunate to have parents that allowed me to keep a wide variety of pets, mostly reptiles and a few amphibians. My first real love was for horned lizards. What an unusual creature! When they are stressed or frightened they squirt blood from their tear ducts! Way cool when you're a kid! I had many lizards and some snakes throughout my younger years but wasn't able to really pursue my love for reptiles until 2004 when I moved back to Colorado. I purchased my first crested gecko at a local reptile show and the rest is history. I was hooked!

My 'Mission Statement'
My original reptile business name was "The Herp Keeper" and was started mainly as a hobby. In early 2011, "Xtreme Beauty Reptiles, LLC" was officially formed . My mission is to educate people about how rewarding it can be to keep and breed reptiles. I am truely fascinated with the genetics behind my projects and strive to produce the best quality reptiles possible. I also have a passion for the proper care and feeding of all my animals as well as educating the public about these phenominal creatures. They get better care than my family does. I strive to be as efficient as possible and continue to keep my costs down without sacrificing health or quality.

It is due to your continued support that I am able to pursue my lifelong passion.

Thank you!

Jennifer
